Commercial Project & Contract Manager (CPjM) – Full Time
The Large Scale segment is responsible for the business outcomes of projects in the megawatt range, particularly in the segment of photovoltaic utility-scale power plants. Within this segment, Commercial Project Management (CPjM) takes responsibility for evaluating the risks of customer orders. As a Commercial Project and Contract Manager, you ensure project success even in the project initiation phase. We look forward to having you strengthen our team!
Your contribution to the bigger picture:
You are responsible for the commercial examination and evaluation of customer projects based on business requirements and compliance. You independently prepare project-specific calculations, comprehensive risk analyses, and potentially cash flow statements.
You collaborate in interdisciplinary teams to conceptualize, develop, negotiate, and document complex commercial contracts. Additionally, you review offers and contracts with national and international clients.
You are accountable for ensuring and adhering to internal approval processes in bidding and contracting.
Throughout the project lifecycle, you conduct project reviews and define measures to secure project success.
You independently develop end-to-end processes, tools, and guidelines and implement them.
Your skills:
Degree in Business Law, Business Administration, or a comparable background with experience in contract negotiations.
Ideally, several years of relevant professional experience dealing with complex project contracts in international business.
Proficient in handling ERP/MS Office systems and modules.
Excellent written and verbal English skills.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills coupled with the ability to simplify complexity.
Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a solution-oriented approach.

Field Service Technician
Field Service Technician
The Field Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing SMA’s commercial and utility inverters and the end customer experiences ensuring minimum downtime. Duties include commissioning, troubleshooting, replacing and repairing inverters and other SMA technology. Duties also include technical reporting and direct customer facing support.
Key Responsibilities
Service, repair, maintain and inspect the wide variety of equipment and systems that are installed throughout the UK.
Delivering excellent field service for commercial and utility solar projects.
Commissioning, inspecting and repairing PV systems installed by leading EPCs.
Troubleshooting and repairing string and central inverters as well as other SMA technology.
Collaborating with our customers, the leading companies in solar, in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Communicating with senior service managers to deliver the highest level of service and quality.
Answering incoming customer calls and processes customer queries and error messages sent to the service line at our subsidiary
Handling of Service Logistics and spare parts for changing out the individual inverter components and organizes the related logistics.
Recording issues in SAP CRM documentation
Maintains the highest safety standards in the workplace and on-site.
